Managed projects from conception to completion for various clients. Specified and installed Novell (3.12) and Microsoft NT (4.0) networks. Trained client personnel to effectively use networks and various software programs. Set up automated system back up (DAT), and kept all stations (PCs) up to date within various network environments. Wrote sundry Visual Basic v 6.0 (ADO) applications to interact with Microsoft™ Access (MDB) multi-user, multi-tier data base. Designed and developed internet web sites using with HTML, ASP, and PHP.

Responsible for all aspects of non-contact inspection development. Reviewed client needs. Researched and evaluated several computer vision systems. Engineered projects (re: lighting, optics, and software development). Supervised engineering and drafting personnel. Wrote computer specifications, procedures, and installed (PC) hardware and software to automate office, word processing, billing, etc. Accompanied sales personnel as technical advisor on various projects. Managed concurrent projects.

Michigan Bell Telephone Company, 1983. Systems Consultant
Refined and defined analysis process using CRAS data base (UNIX) to increase cable maintenance efficiency for Metro-West operations. Wrote supplemental manuals for analysts. Trained personnel in report generation techniques and effective use of CRAS data base. Taught Michigan Bell personnel how to apply analytical techniques of reports obtained from TRIM and TREAT data bases to support other analysis processes. Managed various assigned projects simultaneously.

Michigan Bell Telephone Company, 1973-1979. Cable Repair Technician
Located/repaired trouble-faults in telephone cable. Repaired and installed sundry electronic equipment. Designed and implemented underground cable mapping system for entire Port Huron District (Thumb area of Michigan).

Michigan Sugar Company, Croswell, MI 1972-1973. Bench Chemist
Performed chemical analyses on various stages of sugar production process. Calculated energy expenditures, and quantity of sugar produced on a daily basis. Trained to operate almost all equipment in factory.

Military Service

United States Air Force, McClellan Air Force Base, Sacramento, CA 1968-1972. Staff-Sergeant. Served as Administrative Assistant to the Commander of Sacramento Air Material Area, McClellan AFB. Awarded Air Force Commendation Medal for outstanding performance, 1969-1972. Received plaque from Commander's Staff for distinguished service, 1969-1972.
